假如最后的字母区横向有10键，那你完全有理由重排一个qwerty然后写个驱动

by the way，the diags.img is uploaded below the picture.

and
I paid a lot(....)so I have had
a production TouchPad keypad(for the black one)，
a PVT TouchPad keypad(for the black one),
a  production TouchPad keypad(for the blue nspire-noncas)，
a production ClickPad keypad(for the blue nspire-noncas).

and when this prototype works with 2.0.X os,the production TouchPad keypad(for the black one) and the PVT TouchPad keypad(for the black one) works well, and the a  production TouchPad keypad(for the blue nspire-noncas) will lead to a picture like is


when this prototype works with 2.1~3.6 os,none of the TouchPad keypad can be useful.

and , a production ClickPad keypad(for the blue nspire-noncas) can always be good.
I guess you can guess how to make this happen~(just REPLACE,i have mentioned that, i paid a lot)

all in all, in my point.all the prototype black nspire CAS touchpad ,has a grey nspire CAS clickpad inside. And the TI EDUCATION could make the  touchpad work on these PVT, unfortunately, they refused.

If both production and prototype TouchPad keypads don't work on TI-Nspire TouchPad prototypes with OSes 2.1-3.6, then I fear the only way for you will be to buy and use ClickPad keypads. :(

A patch of the OS through Nlaunch might be possible, but we would first need to put our hands on such prototypes in order to develop it.

their is no need to deal with these PVT..maybe just waste of time

And,this one also has a PCB with
JTAG on it,which seems the same as the last one
and was those outside lines make the prototype sign away?and this one didn't has, so it is still a prototype。。。never3.6

could be a wrong direction touchpad in 2.0.0.717
and never respond for touching in 3.6

    我也入了一台Ti-nspire CAS（以下简称TP2）的不知是不是工程机，背面sn码处是空白，装2.0没问题，装2.0以上的就键盘错位，开机界面没有工程机的小点出现，也不知是不是工程机了。另外我也有一台有sn的机子（以下简称TP1），应该不是工程机的。
   我把TP1和TP2的BOOT1导出来是比较是一模一样的，同系统（OS3.1）下BOOT2也是一模一样的，mauf不一样（地址0x806处TP1为02，TP2为01），DIAGS不同（TP1版本为2.0.1183，TP2为1.0.0）。把TP1的mauf和diags导入到TP2中，重启后还是键错位，不行！！！倒是自检界面由原来的CAS2.0DIAG FOR ASIC变为lris Nspire Diag Menu(TP1的自检界面）。
    搞不清这台机是什么机了！！！

不要乱搞nand引导用的区…
你肯定知道老版只有clickpad.这一版dvt键盘识别上跟老版一样的。目前没人公布两种键盘的识别方式。尤其是dvt2.0支持而升级后不支持的tochupad。很困惑。猜测电路板有较大用于识别键盘的差异。

那个教程没用。是给第一代DVT不能拆卸键盘那款的DVT用的办法

For 549597890 and his EVT TI-Nspire TouchPad non-CAS prototype.

I've noted that you have a "Developer Unit" folder with a "devunit.cer" file.

This could mean that the "development mode" is not hard-coded in the Boot1/Boot2 on your prototype.
If that's the case, the special symbol in the top-left corner of the boot screen should only appear around 50% of the loading bar (when the filesystem becomes available in order for Boot2 to look for a development key).

If that's the case, try to rename the folder and/or the file.
On the next reboot, the Boot2 should not show that special symbol and may uninstall the OS (I don't remember - if that's not the case, remove it through the maintenance menu - do not remove all files, as it would erase the development key).
You should then be able to send any production OS. :)

what you mention about is definitely right.because my EVT is runing os3.6 with ndless3.6 pretty well
by the way,the DVT was  runing os3.6 with ndless3.6 pretty well too，inside a clickpad case (a nice try~).
