You can install CX OSes on your TI-Nspire CM, by :
- changing its NAND model ID from CM to CX (by using nsNandMgr)
- flashing a the TI-Nspire CX Boot2 3.1 (by using nsNandMgr)
- installing Nlaunchy CXM (a fork of Nlaunchy specifically designed for TI-Nspire CM modded this way)
You'll then be able to install and run any TI-Nspire CM or TI-Nspire CX OS up to version 3.3.
Unfortunately, version 3.6 and above won't work, neither CAS nor non-CAS
TI has added new more strict ASIC flags checks in those versions, to prevent people from running CAS OSes on non-CAS hardware.
CM models are using different ASIC flags values, so as a side issue no TI-Nspire CX OS 3.6 or above is going to work. :(
Unfortunately, Nlaunchy has never been updated to patch those new checks. :'(
So the 1st thing to do would be to develop and add the missing 3.6 patches to Nlaunchy, and then to Nlaunchy CXM.
