Yes indeed. The best thing if it has no OS anymore is to open it and check the ASIC chip.
Known ones are :
ET2013-00 for K-DVT early prototypes (running EVT2 or EVT3 Boot Codes)
ET2014-00 for K-ELG2 DVT prototypes and first production models
ET2014 / K-ELG2 DVT are compatible with production models.
ET2013 / K-DVT early hardware is quite different, although we don't know in which ways.
Another thing, assuming it still works in this state. In TI-Connect CE, go in the calculator explorer tab, right-click the calculator and ask for the informations.
It might tell us more about the Boot code (ROM) version, and whether it is EVT2 or EVT3 (which also seem to be incompatible between themselves). |
