嗯，刚刚把CM修好，critor说只要刷CX的manuf就可以修复开机画面的问题，然后我就刷了。
然后，嗯，计算器坏了。

Normally, the original nsNandMgr doesn't let you flash a TI-Nspire CX Manuf on a TI-Nspire CM and vice-versa.

The problem here is that you hadn't a real TI-Nspire CX, but a TI-Nspire CM modded into a TI-Nspire CX, thus having only 32MB SDRAM.
So nsNandMgr security did accept the flashing (I don't see how I could differentiate a fake TI-Nspire CX from a real TI-Nspire CX in the code), but your Boot1 now tests for the expected 64MB and only finds 32MB.


In all cases, thanks to you it's now possible to mod every TI-Nspire CM into a TI-Nspire CX, to use Nlaunch and use a CAS OS.

The international TI community is going to news about your huge exploit in the next days, and all TI-Nspire CM users should be grateful to you. :)

I've just updated nsNandMgr to 1.05.

The new version will:
- show you the Manuf RAM/ROM capacities
- in no case modify those capacities when you flash a Manuf image



So, in the specific case where you use nsNandMgr after modding your TI-Nspire CM into a TI-Nspire CX, reflashing the manuf in order to customize your boot screen won't brick the calculator anymore.


Note that the CX to CM mod is still forbidden in that version, and you'll have to use the version modified by nbzwt for now.

Transforming a CX into a CM just means bricking it, and that's why it was forbidden: your current OS will be removed and you won't be able to officially install any OS anymore.

Of course, you've got Nlaunch - but if you don't have the CX 3.1 Boot2, Nlaunch won't work... and if you have no RS232 adapter to flash it, it's a permanent brick :(

So be sure to follow exactly all steps of the CX to CM mod tutorial in the exact order they're being described.

It might be wiser to wait for Nlaunch CM which won't require you performing anything dangerous.
