TI-Nspire CAS+ DVT1评测

对于nspire的各路工程机，论坛的朋友应该都已经很熟悉了，cas+，11叉，nspireccolor等，前些日子购入了一台光板nspire（实际为早期的cas+），经过几天的摸索，做一个评测。

简单说一下使用，计算速度上要慢于量产机，主频低，系统老，不过有cas和没有cas当然不一样。代数功能还是比较齐全了（数学英语很差，新手接触计算器时间不长，很多还看不懂），几何和量产机差的远，放大缩小功能没有，需要拖动坐标轴，操作很不友好。

此机四周白，中间灰，屏幕上方有灰蓝色TEXAS INSTRUMENTS商标，盖子和背板为蓝色，写名处有一张标签，搓掉后编号为P1-DVT1-000249,禁售标签应该是被撕掉了，背面有一些划痕。电池盖内部为一群叉，还有四国洋文写的中国制造（斜眼）C:\Users\cBble86\Desktop

键盘布局上和nspire绿豆没有太大差别，但上方的按键有所不同，机子无法更换键盘，这与后来的cas系列较为相似。鼠标由类似指点杆的东西控制，手感较硬，运动性要强于thinkpad的小红帽，四周的方向键并不容易摁到，这大概是ti将设计改为clickpad的原因。

开机并没有显示ti的logo，而是显示ti-nspire cas+，左上角没有方块，但这并不重要，因为cas+全都是血统纯正的工程机。

首页，没有home，只有一个文件浏览器，上方为一些功能按钮，比较坑的是，有些按钮点了之后还要按数字1或确定来使用（即使这个“菜单”中只有它自己一个选项），到现在为止，这个机子只是一个没有logo的cas+而已

重点来了，系统版本页面，机型为TI-Nspire CAS+,但系统版本Build 290T是什么鬼，注明的时间为2006年4月2日 20：47：19，精确到秒工程师乃是傲娇了吗？硬件版本和产品ID为空白，序列号为39C30F14，存储使用和系统信息不在一个菜单，早期的系统真是小啊。

问题开始出来了，在浏览器页面，摁ctrl+下箭头，直接出现错误，然后仅有鼠标可以移动，按键完全失灵。cmdshandler.c，line 71（与OS/2驱动安装错误时开机有相似之处，直接提示某行有问题）

算了......大不了我关机......什么，关机无效？卡死了吧。

试了三遍得到一个令人沮丧的结果，那就是......这货居然不支持关机！而且她把我四节双鹿一晚上耗得一干二净，看来自动休眠就不用想了（那么问题来了，on键到底有什么用处）

好吧我们来试着升级一下系统，虽然绝大多数评测里都会明确写出cas+不能升级，但那是指不能使用量产后的系统，工程机的系统多多少少还是可以升级的。这里就出现了第二个......唉不止俩的问题，在computer link 1.0.59下依旧不能识别她，windows给出了结果ethernet adapter，这是网卡啊！冷静下来后到连接软件的drivers文件夹下看了一眼，把文件名字喂给度娘，得出的结论是，这就是一个网卡驱动！对比1.3之后的联机软件，可见量产机驱动起码在名字上是usb适配器了。

目前临近期末，lz也没有更多时间去仔细研究她，寒假应该会考虑如何给她刷成较新的系统，试着解决联机问题，大概就是这样。
一定要提醒一下：如无玩的必要，不要购买工程机，哪怕她们非常便宜。各种奇怪的问题层出不穷，而且几乎没有完全相同的工程机，不会有高针对性的资料！

Hi.

Strangely, your TI-Nspire CAS+ DVT1 seems to be preloaded with a quite old OS, older than OSes we've found on older EVT2 prototypes.
It's the 2nd oldest CAS+ OS known to us up to date.

Your calculator seems to be currently running 1.0.1.0.290T from April 2006.
If I remember well, it won't work with the TI-Nspire Computer Link 1.0. You need a more recent OS version like 1.0.494 and higher.

The OS file can be dumped by using the included Datalight shell available on the calculator serial console :

The OS file path is /phoenix/phoenix.raw .
You just need to copy it to a .tns document in the browsable /documents folder.
Then, although the TI-Nspire Computer Link 1.0 won't work, if I remember well you can still get the file on your computer by telneting the calculator IP address (add 1 to the last number of the virtual network card IP).

I have never attempted to upgrade such an old Nspire CAS+ OS.
But I think you'll just need to overwrite the /phoenix/phoenix.raw files with a new one.

Like this, you could be able to upgrade your calculator to more recent versions from May 2006 :

Don't try more recent versions.
OSes 1.0.494 and higher are using a different OS file format and path. You'll just brick the calculator.

The only possible way to upgrade to more interesting versions 1.0.494 and higher would be by reflashing both Boot1 and Boot2 to more recent versions. Boot2 can certainly be reflashed through the Dock connector, but the Boot1 would need to be reflashed together and it won't be possible this way.
Boot1 reflashing would need something like Ndless+ : https://tiplanet.org/forum/archives_voir.php?id=11446
But unfortunately, Ndless+ doesn't target such old Nspire CAS+ OSes. You'll have to adapt it.
And you'll need a Boot1 reflashing program too.

The good news is that TI-Nspire CAS+ are using the same NOR chip for the Boot1.
The bad news again, is that you'll have to adapt the program for Ndless+.

Sorry，our school is repairing the wifi system,so I can' keep online today.
Thank your explaination and advice，I will try to dump the OS in the winter vacation.If possible,upgrade the OS（I know it means facing more troubles. Ensuring the device safety is most important）.
I didn’ know this cas+ has so old os when I buy her（The evt should be older than the dvt）.This device is very interesting and valuable，I think. The system looks like a evt.
Serious Problems
1,She can't be shut down.I have to remove the batteries.
2,Ctrl+up or down will cause the system error,then only the mouse pointer can be moved,every keys no work.
One interesting thing is Windows thinks she is a Ethernet Adapter, I guess TI has a special software to link the devices which have OS older than 494. Because the OS version time accurates to seconds,just like the OSes download from computers.

此处目测是断言错误，真心只有调试的时候才开断言啊
（如果lz不编程的话断言的解释是：程序员假定程序在运行到这个位置的时候一个表达式的值为真，如果不为真程序就抛出断言错误然后自杀（一些语言，如Java, 在断言错误时会抛出一个特殊异常（该异常不必须被捕获，但是可以捕获并进行异常处理）））

Same thing here. I've never been able to turn off CAS+ calculators running OS 1.0.1.0.347T and older.

Yes, the calculator OS has USB linking support, but just won't work with the TI-Nspire Computer Link 1.0 available online.
Its possible to send the calculator link/receive USB commands by telnetting its IP, so yes I suppose TI had some kind of an older TI-Nspire Computer Link 1.0 version for the first TI-Nspire CAS+ OSes, but unfortunately it didn't make its way online. :(

真有趣，识别为网卡是正常现象。联机最坑爹的还是plt，使用了和84一样的vid/pid，但是协议却不一样

刚开始学单片机，只能描述一下
这个组合键已经被设定了“映射”，但是由于一些原因，TI尚未将这个“映射”和具体的功能建立联系，并且开发机处于测试状态，使用了组合键但没有得到“正确”的结果，直接导致了系统的关键部分自杀了
