Title: Shanghai TI Cup 2012
Additional Details:
Dear all,
The Math Research Institute of Shanghai Education Commission and Texas Instruments are together organising the 2012 “Shanghai TI Cup Math Contest”. This contest will be open to students currently studying at Grade 11 (JC1). “Shanghai TI Cup Math Contest” was first started in 2002, and then consecutively held in Shanghai every year. It has become one of the most popular math contests in Shanghai. We would like to invite students from Singapore to join in and to enhance math education between Singapore and China.
This year, the contest will be held in the morning of May 26, 2012, simultaneously at local site (Hwa Chong Institution). After the contest, all the scripts will be marked and ranked together by the contest organizing committee.
The contest will be composed of two parts - individual contest and group contest. Each school can send ten grade 11 students to participate in the individual part, and designate three of them to form a group representing the school to take part in the group contest part. Prizes include GCs and thumbdrives.
Time: 9am - 1030am (Individual), 11-1130 am (Group), May 26 (Saturday) 2012
Students who are interested to take part are to send an email to ******@ri.edu.sgPlease find attached the 2009 contest paper.
In the event of subscription, there will be a selection test on Monday 14th May from 430 to 6pm, at B51-52.
The use of graphing calculators will be recommended in answering some questions. Students will be allowed to use any type of calculators, including graphing calculators.

看来这比赛还是国际性的，在新加坡同步举行，统一评阅。我们学校也参加。
